Say hello to our Photography and Video Partner – The Imageworks and the talented man behind the lenses Nick Johnson. What can we say – we just clicked… From the moment we spoke to Nick about ‘We’re Going for a Bear Hunt”, he was all in and we couldn’t be happier to have him capturing the colour, creativity and community spirit of this special project.

Nick, who is based in Kent but has worked across the UK and abroad for a wide range of clients including local and national media. He’ll be documenting the entire journey of the art trail – from behind-the-scenes moments and early planning to the final bears on display in summer 2026.

From the launch event to the bears arriving, being painted, being placed in position and being enjoyed by their visitors, Nick will be hunting down a great shot, going above and beyond, to snap these wonderful bears!

Asked why he wanted to support ellenor’s trail, he said: “I’ve lived and worked in Kent my whole life and have known of the hospice for a long time. They do fantastic work and having worked with them more recently, I have discovered just how much they do for patients, but also their families.

“There’s much more going on here that you might not know – their care is known about, but lesser known is their wellbeing side; counselling, physical therapy, financial help, activities, clubs and all sorts of support in addition to the medical side.

“It’s a fantastic place and I know the local community will support ellenor like they always do – and enjoy this trail in summer 2026.

“I was honoured to be asked and am looking forward to shooting some great images of the sculptures on their journey to the trail being opened.”
