Calling all Creative Crafters – We need you!
As we prepare for the Summer 2026 Dartford Bear Hunt Art Trail, we’re rallying our amazing community of makers to help bring this heart warming event to life.
Your handmade Bears and Bear-themed crafts will not only bring smiles to visitors across Dartford and Bluewater, but also help raise vital funds for ellenor, your local hospice in Dartford.
We’re on the lookout for
🐻 Crocheted Bears – big or small, colourful or classic!
🐻 Felted Bears – adorable keepsakes that capture your creativity.
🐻 Knitted Bears & Accessories – plus other bear-themed goodies to welcome visitors at our two trail hubs.
🐻 Any Other Crafty Creations – if it celebrates bears, we’d love to see it!
Every stitch, loop, and creative idea makes a difference — together we can craft something truly special for our community and for the hospice.

Creative Timeline
Whether you’re crafting solo or with friends, getting involved is simple and every creation helps raise vital funds for your local hospice
1️⃣ Get Crafting!
Start creating your bears — knitted, crocheted, felted, or any other bear-themed creation. Every stitch brings joy to the community and support to the hospice.
2️⃣ Deliver Your Bears
Drop off your finished bears at ellenor between 15th April and 15th June 2026.
3️⃣ Need a Hand?
If you have a large number of bears or need help with delivery we will do our best to assist you.
4️⃣ See Your Work in Action
Your bears will be featured at our Bear Hunt merchandise hubs in Bluewater and Dartford town centre throughout the trail, helping to wow our visitors and raise much-needed funds along the way.
