Don’t we all need the light! ‘Bear the light’ symbolises hope and resilience, responsibility, inner strength and courage, introspection and healing, connection to nature. I have selected flowers resembling Sun Helios for this design such as sunflowers, daisy, dandelion, marigold, cosmos etc with radiant hues and outlined details with vibrant gold and white. The bear symbolizes the vital power of the Sun, not only for the bear, but as a universal source of energy for all living beings.
Through this luminous design, ‘Bear the light’ evokes warmth, vitality, hope, renewal and a gentle reminder of our shared need for light and energy for well-being and healing. The sculpture merges nature, art, and the transformative power of solar energy into a harmonious, inspiring form, a guardian of sunlight and a tribute to life energised by the sun. Also, this design serves purpose of inclusiveness with 3D leaves, small flowers and patterns so visually impaired admirers can appreciate the concept behind ‘Bear the light’. I will be painting this design with glow in the dark paint so some flowers will shine in the dark
