The Dartford Bear Hunt Auction, taking place on 1 October 2026, is your exclusive opportunity to give one of our stunning Bear Sculptures a forever home! Join us for an evening of celebration and bid on a beautifully and uniquely decorated sculpture to make your own — all while supporting your local hospice.

Auction FAQS
The auction will be held in person and live-streamed online, with the option to bid remotely. If you’re local, we strongly encourage you to join us in person on the night to experience the excitement live. However, if you can’t attend, you can still take part and bid comfortably from home.
ellenor hospice will be running this event, with the support of Wild in Art.
Bidding starts at around £3,000 for a large sculpture and can reach significantly higher values. Every bid makes a difference, all proceeds from the auction will go directly towards supporting ellenor’s local hospice care services.

Auction tickets will be on sale from late Spring 2026, allowing you plenty of time to check out the lots and see them in person whilst live on the trail.
Yes there will be a few smaller Bear Cubs available.
