Fastrack is Thameside’s pioneering Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) network, connecting Dartford, Bluewater, and Gravesend with speed, reliability, and innovation. By operating on dedicated bus-only roads, known as “busways”. Fastrack bridges the gap between traditional bus services and light rail, offering a cost-effective and reliable alternative to cars.

We’re excited to be connecting the two halves of the trail. At Fastrack, we’re passionate about helping people explore their community, and we can’t wait to see everyone out and about enjoying the trail. We hope that along people can enjoy a ride on one of our brand-new buses as part of a day out completing the trail.

Fastrack is operated by Go-Ahead on behalf of Kent County Council (KCC). We’ve seen the positive impact of Wild in Art trails through our sister companies—Bluestar, Swindon’s Bus Company, and Brighton & Hove Buses—and we’re excited to bring that same energy to Thameside.

Since taking over Fastrack operations in November 2024, we’ve been inspired by the incredible work of ellenor. Our drivers have independently raised funds in memory of a colleague, we brought one of our buses to ellenor’s summer fair, and we’re thrilled to be part of the “Dartford We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” art trail—an initiative we proudly support as transport partners.
