Blum

With her design Ana Zoob creates a dream landscape, a fantastical version of Dartford that allows locals to find recognisable landmarks within a fantasy land of colour, winding staircases and secret tunnels. It is an expansion of her artistic practice, combining intricately drawn cityscapes with colourful abstract landscapes yet is carefully tailored to this project by celebrating local architecture. She takes inspiration for her colour scheme from the book ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ to capture the feeling of reading it as a child, the sense of expansive adventure, curiosity and comfort.
