DescriptionPainted using acrylic paint, Lumina Bear will shine as a beacon celebrating Dartford’s vibrant community. Inspired by the beauty of stained-glass windows, I’ve used vibrant colours and intersecting shapes to symbolise the cultures, communities and individuals which come together to form the area’s identity. Each panel represents a different “light” within the community, showing how diversity strengthens and brightens Dartford. Lumina Bear stands as a joyful reminder that when people from all areas of life unite, they create something truly radiant. On Thursday 1 October, our Bears will find their forever homes at the Dartford Bear Hunt Auction — with the option to join us in person or bid online from wherever you are.
