Wander Bear

My design draws inspiration from my usual art medium of traditional linocut. It blends bold contrasts and pattern to create a connection with nature. The bear itself is a symbol of wilderness, and I aimed to convey a peaceful design, with nods to the book, but with the primary theme to be a ‘wander’; a journey through nature. Using the simple linocut style of marking, the design aims to capture the serenity and calm found in nature’s simplicity.
