Dartford Football Club is a fan-owned football club based at Princes Park in Kent, recognised for its strong community values, supporter involvement, and commitment to developing football both on and off the pitch.

Founded in 1888, the men’s first team currently competes in the Isthmian Premier Division, while the women’s first team has recently secured promotion to the National League. Both sides have built loyal followings through their close connection with the local community and the pride people feel in representing Dartford.

Unlike many football clubs, Dartford FC places huge importance on supporter ownership, transparency, sustainability, and long-term development both on the field and within the wider community.

The club’s home, Princes Park, is widely regarded as one of the most environmentally friendly stadiums in non-league football and serves as a year-round hub for sport, education, events, and community activities across Kent.

Dartford FC also operates:

  • Academy and youth development programmes for boys and girls
  • Community partnerships and outreach initiatives
  • Grassroots football programmes
  • Events and local business collaborations

The club has become known for:

  • Strong community values
  • A family-friendly matchday experience
  • Ambition on and off the pitch
  • Developing local talent
  • Supporter engagement and volunteer involvement

With thousands of visitors coming through Princes Park every week for football, hospitality, events, and community activities, Dartford FC continues to play a major role within the Dartford area and the wider Kent sporting community.
